Why combine countries on a hockey tour

Holland is one of the world's top hockey countries, and we also have partner clubs in Germany and Belgium. A second country adds opponents and new places to explore.

Our example route starts in Germany with Düsseldorf, Cologne, a pro match and two friendlies, then moves to Holland for pro training, Amsterdam and a third friendly.

Utrecht suits multi-sport groups: SV Kampong's complex is right next to FC Utrecht's training ground.

Cities on a multi-country hockey tour

These cities work well as the two halves of a combined tour.

  • Düsseldorf

The first stop in our 8-day example, on the Rhine with a historic Old Town. Home of Düsseldorfer HC.

  • Cologne

A historic city with plenty to see, and a Euro 2024 host.

  • Amsterdam

Home of AH&BC and the Wagener Stadium, the national hockey stadium, and the Dutch half of our example tour.

  • Utrecht

Home of SV Kampong, the biggest hockey club in Holland, and a good base for multi-sport groups.

  • Brussels and Bruges

For a Belgian route: the Grand Place, the Atomium and the canals of Bruges, with pro training at Braxgata or La Gantoise.
